Lifting the Fog
21 to 28 October
Lifting the Fog is a multilayered project that introduces and engages communities with contemporary art and explores the themes of British Art Show 7. During the autumn the project will become a travelling roadshow featuring Freesound radio and a host of related activities.
Freesound is Plymouth Arts Centre’s temporary FM radio station and a platform for the creative voice of Plymouth. Whilst it’s on air, the station will reflect on British Art Show 7 and the creative output of Plymouth. Freesound in collaboration with Take a Part will also work with residents of specific Plymouth communities to make radio programmes about each neighbourhood and contemporary art.
Freesound is a Plymouth Arts Centre project supported by PVAC, Take a Part, Eat Music and Deep Blue Sound, and is funded by Arts Council England, Awards For All and Plymouth City Council.
A Centre & Citizen project
