Gallery Education Coordinator – British Art Show 7

£2666 (based on 20 hours per week over 7 days)
Plymouth has developed an expansive program of events and education opportunities, which complement and reflect on this major exhibition: The British Art Show 7: In the Days of the Comet  (BAS7). We are now looking for someone to support the effective delivery and coordination of this Program.

The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of the existing education and events program and coordinate the schedule and the effective running of the Education room, located at Royal William Yard.

The position will involve liaising with partners who have scheduled activity and supporting the PVAC Education team in successfully delivering projects, which may involve and is not limited to: research, sourcing equipment and communication with other stakeholders in the city.

The successful applicant will have need the skills or experience listed below:
 
·     Effective and open communication skills

·     Hold a current enhanced CRB

·     Previously managed and coordinated a similar project

·     A degree within the Arts Subjects

·     Experience of teaching or gallery education

·     A knowledge and understanding of the appropriate regulations and legislation to coordinate and manage a successful events program
